Call for Applications: Women’s Fund Asia 2024-2025

Women’s Fund Asia has opened its gates to support women, girls, trans, and intersex rights activists, groups, and networks working at the local, sub-national, and national levels. They launched “The Strengthening Feminist Movements (SFM) program to support future feminist leadership, advocacy, capacities, and network initiatives.

Who Can Apply:

Women, girls, trans, and intersex rights activists, groups, and networks working at the local, subnational, and national levels from 19 Asian countries.

South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka

Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam

East Asia: Mongolia and Taiwan

Grant size and duration: Individual grants will be up to USD 8,000 for a period of 1 year. Organisational grants will be of two categories:One-year organisational grants up to a maximum amount of USD 15,000. Two-year organisational grants up to a maximum amount of USD 30,000.

Grant Type: Organisations, groups and networks can apply for fully core grants to fill funding gaps as per their needs. This can cover operational costs including staff salaries, rent, audit, and costs related to communications, training, meetings, as well as resource gaps for ongoing/new programmes and collaborations.Individuals can only apply for programmatic grants. This includes support for specific programmes/projects, whether ongoing or new initiatives.
