Transgender Day of Remembrance

The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is celebrated on 20 November each year in tribute to those transgender men and women who have lost their lives to hate crimes or suffered from prejudice. TDoR began in San Francisco and is now held worldwide, bringing greater visibility to the transgender community highlighting the hatred and ignorance transgender people face daily.
